Whining, arguing …no it’s not me

Did 3 hours at the office today.  Done wore me out.  Ron says I am a lightweight and he is sooo correct.  Felt like I did a full eight.

I am not in tune with my body it seems, I don’t feel the warning signals of my monthly cycle.  I was concerned about this and was sharing my body concerns with a friend.  They wisely pointed out no one knows when it is PMS or me being “stroke moody”.  Good point.

We decided to go shopping.  Thus leads me to my title. We had arguing, we had whining and complaining.  Fun fun.. not.  One had to go sit in the CSR with Daddy.  One chose to do anything possible to aggravate the other.  Drove us batty.  Did finally go grocery shopping and got through it with no one maimed or injured.

Received a phone call that it seems one of my parishioner seems to have suffered a stroke. This is the 2nd one in  12 days.  Both young.  God is already using my stroke.

Can barely stay awake.  Please pray for these two and their families.

Going to the land of nod, resting in Jesus’ arms. Goodnight and God bless.

I am a wife, mother, and pastor. We moved from Bowling Green, Missouri to Idaho Falls in 2016. I am a native of Eastern Washington state. In 2013 I had 2 strokes in 8 days and this is my journey of faith, family and health. I believe no matter what happens in your life that God can use it for His glory.

  1. It was a good day for you. Just that you can handle children being children is a good sign. What I don’t understand is why you think God is using your strokes because others have had strokes.

  2. PMS or stroke moody…..hmmmmm…….Dawn, I love your humor! Thank God you have a sense of humor….otherwise this tough journey you are on would be so much worse. Even more important……your deep faith is keeping you on top of this situation. I often wonder and can only imagine….how people with little or no faith get through bad situations.

You are an inspiration for which I am grateful to know. I thank God for Dawn Marie. Blessings and joy to you today. I think I need to add peace to that….you have kids home for the weekend and peace might be hard to find!!! sf
